Our event is held at an excellent dark sky site: the Green Bank Observatory in Green Bank, WV.  We feature a distinguished keynote speaker EVERY evening, with presentations on the latest in astronomy and space sciences. Clinics and additional presentations are held daily (indoors) on multiple subjects including Astrophotography. Solar and night-time observing with our amazing dark skies are available right from your campsite.  The campground has graveled roads, sanitary stations and a HOT shower facility close by.  We feature: a Large Raffle Drawing (the 2018 event had about 84 prizes). We provide Children's Activities that are both fun and educational, which are given by our club's NASA ambassadors.  There is a Cafeteria and a Snack Bar, which serve hot meals, sandwiches, ice cream and more. Vendors on site. The 4-day registration fee is just $100. Limited bunkhouse accommodations for additional fee. Breakfast and Supper buffet available for purchase from GBO and served in their cafeteria. For additional information, see the other pages of this website, listed in menu at the top of this page.
